We have found a need to support parents when their baby is born and after their child's operations. By helping us afford one of these packages you will make a difference in the lives of many. Starter package - for a new born baby Includes: Baby clothing & soft toy (R150), something special to pamper mommy (R100), gift bag and card (R30), information booklet (R15) Total = R295-00 Post-op package - for a baby after cleft lip/palate operation Includes: Syringes (R20), baby clothing & soft toy (R150), something special to pamper mommy (R100), gift bag and card (R30), information booklet (R15) Total = R315-00 Donations of of any of the above items are welcome. Parent Training We hope that this group will grow to every town, city, rural village, township in South Africa. We would like to raise funds to travel to CLAPA (Cleft Lip and Palate Association) in London, UK to attend their parent training course so that we can travel through out South Africa and train parents to support each other in their communities. This is a worthy cause! We needs funds for flights, travel, accomodation and course fees. We are in the process of applying for a Cleft Friends South Africa NPO number. Please contact us so that we know you are interested in partnering with Cleft Friends or perhaps giving a once off donation. Our needs extend to creating awareness about cleft lip/palates and we also need finances to print posters, flyers and place adverts in strategic publications. |
